All staff are dedicated professionals whose main concern is for the welfare of the children they look after.

Working in partnership with local job centres, Schoolfriend Clubs often employ parents from schools. They are provided with the opportunity to return to work, retrain, or work full instead of part time. For many parents this offers the chance of respite - safe in the knowledge that their children are being looked after in a secure and stimulating environment.

Schoolfriend etc undergoes Quality Assurance using schemes approved and recognised by the Department for Education and Skills. All staff attend induction training when they start work, and complete continuing professional development training during the year. Playleaders are qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in childcare or playwork. All staff have Criminal Record Bureau checks.
